Each day, the Bbox team trolls YouTube for the hot clip—sometimes it's a brand-new moment and sometimes it's a throwback to an oldie but goodie. No matter what praise hands are shot up, pearls are clutched and the repeat button is hit.

"An American In Paris Pas de Deux" from An American In Paris (Robbie Fairchild and Leanne Cope)

Ulterior Motives: The magnifique musical adaptation of the MGM movie musical opened six years ago tonight! Harkening back to that Golden Age of film musicals, renowned ballet choreographer Christopher Wheeldon not only choreographed but directed the 11 time Tony Award nominated musical earning one himself for Best Choreography. It's the classic boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy and girl perform showstopping number after showstopping number type of show. With brilliant ballet star Robbie Fairchild starring in the role of Jerry Mulligan originated by Gene Kelly in the film, audiences followed his quest to win the heart of fellow stunning ballet star Leanne Cope's Lise. Give the cast album a listen to be immediately transported to Paris with outstanding, lush Tony Award winning orchestrations.

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: This dreamy moment is permanently engrained in our memories of this production. For our Hot Clip of the Day, we found this special performance of the ballet at The White House which Robbie and Leanne performed to a brilliant piano accompaniment. There is something so special at 1:26 - 1:55. The beautifully dynamic George Gershwin music, Christopher Wheeldon's sweeping choreography that seems to have Robbie and Leanne float through air, it's all so romantic.
