Each day, the Bbox team trolls YouTube for the hot clip—sometimes it's a brand-new moment and sometimes it's a throwback to an oldie but goodie. No matter what praise hands are shot up, pearls are clutched and the repeat button is hit.

"A Quiet Thing" from Flora The Red Menace(Gavin Creel)

Ulterior Motives: Gavin Creel has put something really spectacular together! This October 25th, the Tony and Olivier Award-winner will debut his brand new show Walk On Through. The event, which has two performances that evening, is the result of a special invitation by MetLiveArts. Gavin immersed himself in the work of the famed art institution and the evening's music will be inspired by the museum's vast collections. The Met's website states it beautifully, "experience Creel's newfound passion and sense of wonder for The Met in his newly composed songs that make the art sing."

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: When thinking of a clip to celebrate this forthcoming evening of Creel's compositions, we couldn't help but recall his performance of this Kander & Ebb tune at MCC's Miscast. He precedes the song sharing a story of the great Laura Linney's creation of a special event for Tony Award nominees and a quote jumped out at us. At 2:36, Gavin says "and people are trying so hard to make amazing theatre that she thought let's just look each other in the eye quietly and have a quiet moment where we can actually just connect and say 'thank you' and 'wow, look at what you did!'" We can't wait to gather with friends at Gavin's Walk on Through this fall live at The Met and say "wow, look at what you did!"
