Ulterior Motives: April 30th marks the 12 year anniversary of the Dolly Parton scored musical 9 to 5 starring a trio of magnificent ladies, Allison Janney, Stephanie J. Block and Megan Hilty playing Miss Doralee herself made famous by Dolly in the 1980 film. The musical gave us a belter's paradise of a song "Get Out and Stay Out" which we have and always will discuss at length. In our Hot Clip of the Day, Judy Bernley (Block), Violet Newstead (Janney) and Doralee Rhodes (Hilty) stand up to their no-good bully of a boss Franklin J. Hart played by Marc Kudisch. By stand up, well - you'll see in the clip. They go to quite the extreme in this high flying Act 1 finale!

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: Could you imagine surfing the channels of daytime TV that morning and seeing three Broadway beltresses put a man in the trunk of a car!? Not your standard Broadway musical performance! We are absolutely going to choose a Stephanie J. Block moment as our ultimate moment because - vocals and acting for days as usual! We are particularly obsessed with her placement on the word "All" at 2 minutes in. /p>
