Over his decades long career, Mr. Mackie has adorned entertainment's most famous ladies including (on Broadway alone!) Carol Burnett, Carol Channing, Liza Minnelli, Bernadette Peters and Debbie Reynolds. Most recently, Bob Mackie won the 2019 Tony Award for his colorful, detailed, inspired, extraordinary costumes for The Cher Show. Broadway mainstay Michael Berresse portrayed the legendary designer in the musical. Happy happy birthday Mr. Mackie. We cannot wait to see your innovative, bedazzled fashion creations on Broadway again soon!
