Like Gretchen Wieners and “fetch”, we are dedicated to making Nicole Vanessa Ortiz happen. The mega-voiced talent first caught our attention co-starring in off-Broadway's Spamilton before slaying crowds in the award-winning revival of Smokey Joe’s Café. Nicole just wrapped up her run starring in the immersive, Vaudeville-style Serenbe Playhouse production of Ragtime, and the video above is her closing night performance of Sarah’s Act I showstopper “Your Daddy’s Son”. Grasp onto something tight, buckle yourself in, and get ready to hear the Ahrens and Flaherty anthem in a whole new way. Spoiler: It ends with a mid-show standing ovation.
