The first Broadway play has opened of the 2022-2023 Broadway season! A week or so ago we celebrated this first musical and now we are shining the spotlight on The Kite Runner which opened at the Hayes Theatre.
The Kite Runner began its journey to Broadway as first the critically acclaimed novel by Khaled Hosseini and has been adapted for the Broadway stage by Matthew Spangler. Among the number of exciting Broadway debuts in this cast, the role of Amir is portrayed by Amir Arison known most recently for his role as Amar Mojtabai in NBC's "The Blacklist."
