September 1st, 2022. Dear Diary: We believe it's a good time for a Heathers throwback.
In March 2014, New York audiences were treated to the run of the very VERY musical Heathers based on the 1988 Winona Ryder & Christian Slater led film.
The musical boasted a tune-filled score by Laurence O'Keefe and Kevin Murphy performed fabulously by its cast Barrett Wilbert Weed (Veronica), Ryan McCartan (JD), Jessica Keenan Wynn (Heather Chandler), Alice Lee (Heather Duke) and Elle McLemore (Heather McNamara).
One of the songs we always catch running though our mind is "Seventeen" because of the gorgeous harmonies between Barrett and Ryan on the cast album.
