Bart Sher’s stunning Broadway revival of My Fair Lady is about as perfect as the Lerner & Loewe classic can get, thanks to incredible anchor performances by Tony winner Laura Benanti as Eliza and Tony nominee Harry Hadden-Paton as Henry Higgins. As an audience member, you don’t want this lush production to end, so when it does, you can’t help but hop online in hopes of consuming more of it—and that’s where Lincoln Center Theater’s social content team is knocking it out of the park. They are serving you insane BTS (behind-the-scenes) video and photo content, as well as some amazing meme moments. Scroll on for an overload of My Fair Lady content via the show’s Instagram and YouTube.
Get the Go-Pro the Church on Time
Anytime you get to see six-time Tony nominee Danny Burstein perform, it’s treat; but to have his fantastic performance as Alfred P. Doolittle preserved is a gift. Though Danny is no longer in the production, you can watch his showstopper “Get Me to the Church on Time” anytime thanks to a go-pro and Kerstin Anderson. Enjoy this up close look at the rousing musical number and Christopher Gattelli’s athletic choreography.
Harry’s House Tour
This is the truly the pièce de résistance of the YouTube series so far. My Fair Lady’s leading man, the dashing Harry Hadden-Paton, takes you on a thorough guided tour of Michael Yeargan’s sprawling, revolving set and the prop pieces that populate it. Truly obsessed with this video.
Designing My Fair Lady
When leaving the Vivian Beaumont Theatre, the design of this show is at the top of your mind, so it’s amazing that you have this video with the designers and director Bart Sher explaining their craft and their inspirations.
How They do the Marble Scene
Any video that pulls the veil back a bit and lets us in on the secrets of stage magic is tops in my book. It helps that Laura Benanti is effortlessly charming always.
A Year of Rain in Spain
This one-year anniversary video takes you from the meet and greet to present day and charts the evolution of the show and its company.

“In the wings of the Beaumont, @LauraBenanti's whisked out of one costume and into another. Knee pads come flying off, corsets are laced and unlaced, wigs righted and capes fastened. In one rapid sequence, Benanti quick-changes four times.” Peter Marks of the @WashingtonPost shares his experience backstage at @LCTheater with the cast of #MyFairLady.
