Hot Clip of the Day: Lovely Lucie Arnaz In They're Playing …

Each day, the Bbox team trolls YouTube for the hot clip—sometimes it's a brand-new moment and sometimes it's a throwback to an oldie but goodie. No matter what praise hands are shot up, pearls are clutched and the repeat button is hit.

"They're Playing our Song" from They're Playing Our Song (Lucie Arnaz and Robert Klein)

Ulterior Motives: With classic television's Queen and King as parents, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, Lucie Arnaz made a name for herself on the Broadway stage in 1979 when she made her debut as up and coming lyricist Sonia Walsk in They're Playing Our Song. July 17th also happens to be her birthday which is cause to celebrate! Lucie has a fabulous television career with most recently a guest appearance on the "Will and Grace" reboot on their special "I Love Lucy" episode. She has appeared in film, national tours and Broadway's Lost in Yonkers, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and as high flying Berthe in the revival of Pippin.

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: This song will get stuck in your head - also you're welcome! Lucie is electric! This whole clip is just disco-riffic and a whole lotta fun. Choreography legend Patricia Birch, who just recently came off of choreographing the 1978 film version of Grease in 1979, provided the dance moves for the joyful dance break at 4:08. Honestly, we have all been Robert Klein at 4:12 when we hear our favorite song. This whole dance break from 4:12 - 4:53 could honestly be both of our personalities - completely going wild like Robert Klein and/or fully choreographed dynamic dance piece with fantastic across the floor steps like our birthday lady Lucie Arnaz.
