Each day, the Bbox team trolls YouTube for the hot clip—sometimes it's a brand-new moment and sometimes it's a throwback to an oldie but goodie. No matter what praise hands are shot up, pearls are clutched and the repeat button is hit.

"In The Air Tonight" from American Psycho (Jennifer Damiano)

Ulterior Motives: Happy Birthday to the fabulous Tony Award nominated Jennifer Damiano. The actress made her Broadway debut covering so many roles in Spring Awakening including appearing in the show's onstage ensemble. Jennifer followed one rock infused score with another two as Natalie Goodman in the outstanding Next To Normal and inhabiting the iconic role of Mary Jane Watson in Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark. Most recently, she appeared in another Duncan Sheik and 1980's scored musical American Psycho portraying Jean opposite Benjamin Walker's Patrick Bateman. As we mentioned, American Psycho's score included 80's radio hits including this Phil Collins hit "In The Air Tonight." Jennifer performed the tune so gorgeously at her July 2017 Joe's Pub show that we happily made this our Hot Clip of the Day.

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: Jenn's voice is so radio worthy. There's such an effortless way with her delivery of a lyric. Cheers to the extraordinary orchestrations by Duncan Sheik and musical director Jason Hart. She delivers a captivating performance here of the rock classic. One of the things that make it such a legendary song is that amazing drum solo at 3:30 which gets its own ovation! Our ultimate moment is here through the end where Jenn's voice soars through to the final measures where she so beautifully brings it back to its quietest moments. Vocal superstar!
