Hot Clip of the Day: All the TOMMY Broadway Debuts!

Each day, the Bbox team trolls YouTube for the hot clip—sometimes it's a brand-new moment and sometimes it's a throwback to an oldie but goodie. No matter what praise hands are shot up, pearls are clutched and the repeat button is hit.

"Pinball Wizard" from The Who's Tommy (Anthony Barrile, Michael Cerveris, Christian Hoff, Donnie Kehr and Cast)

Ulterior Motives: Happy 75th Birthday Pete Townshend! Pete, of his outstanding band The Who, is responsible for one of the great Broadway rock musicals of our time The Who's Tommy. The show went on to win 5 Tony Awards.

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: We have a sensational game here of "Spot the Broadway Debut!" Look at Christian Hoff in electric blue as one of the Pinball Lads. Then we have Michael Cerveris behind the pinball machine of course as Tommy. Who's that lovely lady in yellow? Why that's Sherie Rene Scott! Though not her debut, A Chorus Line fans will recognize the woman in purple - Pam Klinger, the 1985 film version's Maggie.

Our ultimate moment though would have to go to Wayne Cilento's singular, fantastic choreography in this number at 3:01 and those suit tail wings at 3:10 - I.CON.IC.
