For their first Carnegie Hall concert of the new year and the new decade, The New York Pops celebrate the iconic songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein in Find Your Dream. The timeless R&H music will fill Carnegie Hall on Friday, January 24 as The Pops cover all 11 of the legendary pair’s collaborations, including Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I, Oklahoma!, and The Sound of Music. Joining The New York Pops and conductor/music director Steven Reineke for this concert event are Olivier Award winner Laura Michelle Kelly (The King and I, Mary Poppins, Finding Neverland) and Tony Award nominee Max von Essen (An American in Paris, Falsettos, Anastasia), as well as Essential Voices USA. BroadwayBox recently popped into rehearsal to get a first look at these marvelous performers sing their way through the Rodgers and Hammerstein songbook.
