Harlem Repertory Theatre and Yip Harburg Foundation present The Wizard Oz
like you've never heard it before. A multi-racial cast of Latino, Black and Asian actors reimagine the classic story of Dorothy & Co. thanks to jazzy new arrangements by Dan Aran that are entwined with the classic arrangements of the MGM score. Taylor-Rey Rivera stars as Dorothy, and below we have a listen of her fresh, soulful rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" (starts about a minute in). Hear her live through June 16, when Oz ends its acclaimed, extended run at uptown's Tato Laviera Theatre on East 123rd Street.Hear Taylor-Rey Rivera's Soulful "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" from Harlem Repertory Theatre's The Wizard of Oz
