Tony Award winner Laura Benanti is thrilling Broadway audiences with her exquisite performance as Eliza Doolittle in the lush, Lincoln Center Theatre revival of Lerner & Loewe’s My Fair Lady. As everyone knows, the musical follows Eliza’s transformation from street urchin to society lady, as orchestrated by Professor Henry Higgins. One famous scene from the classic involves Henry putting marbles in Eliza’s mouth to help with her common enunciation. In the video above, Laura shares a little of the stage magic behind that moment. Don’t miss seeing her and this production live at LCT’s Vivian Beaumont Theatre.
