Each day, the Bbox team trolls YouTube for the hot clip—sometimes it's a brand-new moment and sometimes it's a throwback to an oldie but goodie. No matter what praise hands are shot up, pearls are clutched and the repeat button is hit.

Promo for Broadway's November (Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf)

Ulterior Motives: A BOOK SCENE for our Hot Clip of the Day!? Why not! We have good reason.

Our new friends at Broadway's Best Shows are kicking off an exciting new Thursday play reading series - Spotlight on Plays. These special livestream plays are one night only events and all to benefit a charity that has been doing so much for everyone in the entertainment industry: The Actors Fund.

The series kicks off with a heck of a cast - David Mamet's November starring John Malkovich, Patti LuPone, Dylan Baker, Ethan Phillips and Michael Nichols DIRECTED by David Mamet. Set a reminder for tomorrow, Thursday May 7th at 8pm EST to, according to the Broadway's Best Shows website, follow "the misadventures of a day in the life of U.S. president Charles Smith."

The Spotlight On Plays series continues with Significant Other with the entire original Broadway cast (!) on Thursday May 14th and A. R. Gurney's Love Letters with newcomers Sally Field and Bryan Cranston directed by Jerry Zaks on Thursday May 21. Can you believe these names!? ::heart eyes::.

Again, don't miss your chance to witness these very special one night only events available on the Broadway's Best Shows Facebook and YouTube pages.

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: Laurie Metcalf's slow burn look to the camera that start 8 seconds in with an ever so subtle look down in the direction of the camera. Act.Ing. We can't wait to see Patti's take on this character, Clarice Bernstein!
