Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS will be offering a free livestream of CHITA: A Legendary Celebration. The extraordinary one night only celebration was held October 7, 2013 at Broadway's August Wilson Theatre. Longtime collaborators Graciela Daniele directed and the late Terrence McNally authored the celebration. It is sure to be a marvelous evening of song and dance featuring performances by Ms. Rivera, Ben Vereen and Tommy Tune.

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: Did we tear up a little bit and get goosebumps while watching this? Sure did! A legendary clip of the day for a legendary performer. Members of the original Broadway cast of West Side Story came together at the 2007 Gypsy of the Year Awards (now Red Bucket Follies) for an outstanding 50th anniversary reunion performance. Our ultimate moment during this amazing performance (from another Broadway Cares event) would have to be at 6:52 when the atmosphere in the room changes and Chita Rivera once again dances "Mambo!" during one of its most iconic moments. Brilliant.
