Each day, the Bbox team trolls YouTube for the hot clip—sometimes it's a brand-new moment and sometimes it's a throwback to an oldie but goodie. No matter what praise hands are shot up, pearls are clutched and the repeat button is hit.

"The Bitch of Living" from Spring Awakening (John Gallagher, Jr.)

Ulterior Motives: June 17th is the marvelous birthday of Best Featured Actor in a Musical Tony winner John Gallagher, Jr. Most recently, we've seen him on the small screen in televisions series' "Love Life," "Westworld," "Modern Love" and "The Newsroom." He's appeared in films Short Term 12, 10 Cloverfield Lane, and The Miseducation of Cameron Post. Broadway fans were swooning for him years prior when he made his musical debut in Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater's explosive rock musical Spring Awakening first Off-Broadway at the Atlantic Theater Company followed by Broadway at the Eugene O'Neill. John picked up the Tony Award for his portrayal of the anxious and troubled Moritz Stiefel.

Next summer, John is set to star next year opposite his American Idiot co-star Stark Sands in the musical Swept Away at Berkeley Rep in California. The musical will be directed by John's director on Spring Awakening and American Idiot Michael Mayer highlighting fantastic songs from musical group The Avett Brothers with a book by Moulin Rouge!'s John Logan.

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: During the 2007 Local One Strike of the Broadway Stagehands in November 2007, the Spring Awakening cast would arrive for half hour call but end up entertaining outside of their theatre. Our ultimate moment is at 1:30 where one of the cast members starts beatboxing while John Gallagher, Jr. and Skylar Astin sing their harmonies together. Let's be honest, we're all Christine Estabrook throughout this whole performance. We also love a Matt Doyle Melchior moment!

Wishing you a very happy birthday John Gallagher, Jr. We'll be listening to Six Day Hurricane.
