Five Awkward Moments from the Painfully Funny Web Series Lanky Scoliosis

There are two kinds of people in this world: those that see awkward humor and freeze up or those that revel in it. No matter which group you fall into, you're going to enjoy the awkwardly adorable and seriously funny web series Lanky Scoliosis, created by and starring Tim Murray (who you may recall from his half-naked antics in 50 Shades! The Musical).
The show’s first season contains five episodes and all you need to know is that Lanky is a hopelessly awkward dreamer whose life ambition is to work at Guinness World Records…and talk to girls without being weird. Below, Murray shares with BroadwayBox his five favorite awkward moments from Lanky Scoliosis’ first season.
One of my favorite awkward moments of the show is a sight gag in the second episode where Lanky takes his shirt off for yoga class. As soon as he disrobes, he sees very physically fit guys (Alec Varcas and Anthony Crouchelli) take their shirts off and immediately puts his clothes back on. Watch for the hot bodies, stay for the uncomfortable humor.
Also in episode two, we were lucky enough to get the hilarious and beautiful Jenna Leigh Green to guest star as a yoga teacher. In this wonderfully awkward moment she is trying to adjust Lanky and he keeps falling down onto the girl (Cali LaSpina) next to him.
The awkward moment that people tell me makes them laugh the most happens in episode four when Lanky finally talks to the girl he likes and for some reason can not stop telling her about all the skin diseases he's had. After listing his many skin ailments he ends his "flirtation" by telling her that his scabies "don't attack the penis".
In the finale episode Ciara Rene plays the female version of Lanky. As Lanky is running down the hallway we think he is finally about to go get the dream job he has hoped for all season when he his stopped by Ciara... in a clown costume...screaming "you're tall!!". It's so awesomely awkward we gave it a literal record stop sound effect.
Lanky's signature move obviously has to be included in his top five most awkward moments: hugging people when it's completely unwelcome. This move stemmed out of many real life situations I've had where people clearly wanted a handshake and I went in for the hug. In episode one, Lanky hugs Galagher, played by Chris Grace.
Embrace the awkward moment with a marathon viewing of ‘Lanky Scoliosis’.
