Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with 10 Fantastic Versions of “…

While we may not be able to go out and about to the bars or parades to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this year, we can turn the volume way up on this Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin Legally Blonde belting anthem and dance without moving our arms.

Orfeh

There’s only one Orfeh and this is her song, hands down. She is Tony-nominated, OG Paulette, and we owe it all to her. Everything that happens after 6:02 is considered a religious experience.

Alex Newell

This is truly the only way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day—just this on repeat. Alex doesn’t try to do Orfeh—it’s a completely original interpretation and completely incredible.

Victoria Socci

Victoria played the role in at the White Plains Performing Arts Center in 2015, and there’s a reason her video has over 18,000 views. She’s outstanding! Watch her full through—that finale note in the reprise.

Haven Burton

Haven performed Paulette at that starry (perfectly cast) 54 Below concert. Love how she takes her time with it—really pushing the story. PS: revive this show for Carrie St. Louis!

Taylor Fishman

Taylor can SING—2:39 made me cheer. What an enjoyable version. Definitely searching for other videos by her after this.

Leslie Kritzer

If now isn’t a time for a good boot, when is?! Here’s Beetlejuice star Leslie Kritzer in the original production, and she’s an undeniable star. The reprise starts at 4:35 if you just want the big notes. She puts a little Elphaba riff in that “love”.

Jill Halfpenny

Here’s Jill Halfpenny in her Olivier Award-winning turn as Paulette in the West End production.

Mamie Parris

Final boot, but come on! It’s Mamie! The reprise starts at 5:20 and it’s well worth it. Gosh, cast her in everything.

Mary Mac Carlin

First off, this set. Second, I’d want to be friends with this Paulette. Can’t believe this is high school.

Talia Kolenc

This is so adorable. It’s so cute to see it with children, but also this little Paulette slays. The look, the jokes, the confidence of the reprise—she’s got it.
