Jinkx Monsoon made some Broadway history on a Monday night in Manhattan!
After making history on TV's RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars: All Winners being crowned Queen of All Queens last summer, Jinkx, as we all hoped forever Broadway bound, became the first drag performer to play Matron "Mama" Morton in the beloved Broadway revival of Chicago, the longest running American Broadway musical. The role marks her anticipated Broadway debut!
BroadwayBox was on the scene to commemorate the exciting night as well as welcoming James T. Lane to the cast as Billy Flynn. Chicago currently stars Charlotte D'Amboise as Roxie Hart and Lana Gordon as Velma Kelly.
