Introduce Yourself(ie): Get to Know The Four Hunks Of Well-…

The talented quartet Well-Strung gained a big fan following (including Ms. Kristin Chenoweth) by fusing pop favorites with classical music to create truly one-of-a-kind mashups, like this one of Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” and Johann Sebastian Bach.

Below, we get to know a little bit more about each of these guys individually; so scroll on to meet your new crushes.

Edmund Bagnell (1st violin)

Well-Strung- Edmund Bagnell

Moment I Knew I Wanted to Be a Performer:
Watching Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone when I was a little kid—his job seemed so cool!

Song I’d Use as a Personal Theme Song:
“Moon River” —it's sweet and optimistic.

My Go-to Comedy and My Go-to Cry Movie:
Bridesmaids.... if it's on, I can't not watch. And for sad, the end of Terms of Endearment really wrecks me.

Singer I’d Lose My Mind Over Collaborating With:
Rihanna!

My NYC Happy Place Is:
The West Village on a crisp day in October.

Daniel Shevlin (cello)

Moment I Knew I Wanted to Be a Performer:
I feel like I've been doing it since before I can remember but I'm sure it happened around the time I used to put on records (yes- vinyl records- remember those?) and make my family watch the dance routines I would make up. Though the more I think about it, I was basically just running in circles around the coffee table while singing... But I got the attention I wanted so I guess that's where it started!

Fictional Character I’d Say Is My Spirit Animal:
Ari Graynor as Katie in For A Good Time Call

My Go-to Comedy and My Go-to Cry Movie:
Comedy: Death Becomes Her
Cry: Dancer in the Dark.

Singer I’d Lose My Mind Over Collaborating With:
Alive: Jessie J
Dead: Judy Garland

My NYC Happy Place Is:
Just one?! I can't... :)
For peace: ordering delivery while watching a movie my apartment.
For good weather: Ft. Tryon Park
For social: 9th Ave. Saloon
For my stereotypical "I love New York" scene: Lincoln Center Fountain

Chris Marchant (2nd violin)

Moment I Knew I Wanted to Be a Performer:
I've always loved music. Even before I was playing violin, I sang along with everything. But I didn't LOVE performing until I fell in love with musical theatre. I took a trip to NYC, won the lottery to see Rent in the front row, and was overwhelmed with the desire to do what the people on stage were doing.

Fictional Character I’d Say Is My Spirit Animal:
Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon is my spirit animal. My boyfriend even bought me a stuffed animal version.

My Biggest Pinch Me Moment Professionally:
My biggest pinch me moment, professionally speaking, was when Hillary Clinton tweeted our music video. I was like 'Ok seriously. My life is The Truman Show.'

My NYC Happy Place Is:
I actually love being at home in my apartment, especially when I'm surrounded by my closest friends. I always make them come over to my apartment instead of going to theirs :-)

Singer I’d Lose My Mind Over Collaborating With:
I'd love to collaborate with Taylor Swift. She has great structured and melodic songs. Super smart and super talented. We've covered a couple of her songs.

Trevor Wadleigh (viola)

Song I’d Use as a Personal Theme Song:
“J.S. Bach, Chaconne from Partita No. 2 in d minor, BWV 1004”

Fictional Character I’d Say Is My Spirit animal:
A mix of Tilda Swinton as Madame D. in The Grand Budapest Hotel and Jerri Blank from Strangers with Candy.

My Biggest Pinch Me Moment Professionally:
Performing with Kristin Chenoweth.

Singer I’d Lose My Mind Over Collaborating With:
Bjork or Beyoncé.

My NYC Happy Place Is:
My private viola teacher's home on the Upper West Side. So many great, important, life-changing and inspiring memories from there.
