Each day, the Bbox team trolls YouTube for the hot clip—sometimes it's a brand-new moment and sometimes it's a throwback to an oldie but goodie. No matter what praise hands are shot up, pearls are clutched and the repeat button is hit.

"Life On Mars" from Lazarus (Sophia Anne Caruso)

Ulterior Motives: Track three of music legend David Bowie's final album Blackstar was titled "Lazarus." The title was also shared by the sold out musical that premiered at New York Theatre Workshop on December 7, 2015 directed by Tony Award winner Ivo Van Hove with a score provided by Bowie and a book by Once Tony Award winning writer Enda Walsh. The musical starred Michael C. Hall as Thomas Jerome Newton, the same role Bowie himself played in the film adaptation of the book The Man Who Fell To Earth. The interplanetary musical also featured Sophia Anne Caruso as his muse singing one of Bowie's most popular music masterpieces, "Life On Mars." Both Michael and Sophia performed in the London production at King's Cross Theatre a year later which is where this Hot Clip of the Day has been preserved.

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: Love the small riff at 0:43 and it's so exciting when Sophia sings the chorus for the first time at 0:49. Out ultimate moment though is 2:57 where Sophia sings the title with such power.
