Each day, the Bbox team trolls YouTube for the hot clip—sometimes it's a brand-new moment and sometimes it's a throwback to an oldie but goodie. No matter what praise hands are shot up, pearls are clutched and the repeat button is hit.

"Happy Birthday" at Hello, Dolly! (David Hyde Pierce and Broadway Company)

Ulterior Motives: December 1st marks the birthday of legendary star Tony, Grammy, Emmy, Golden Globe Award winner of The Divine Miss M herself, Bette Midler. While making her Broadway debut in Fiddler on the Roof's Anatevka, she has appeared on Broadway in musicals, plays, and even her acclaimed one woman concert events throughout the 1970's which earned her a 1974 Tony Award for adding lustre to the Broadway season. It was Bette's most recent return to Broadway as Dolly Levi in the glorious revival of Hello, Dolly! that earned her the Tony for Best Leading Actress in a Musical. Happy happy birthday Ms. Midler!

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: In 2017, Bette celebrated her birthday onstage with the Hello, Dolly! Broadway cast at the Shubert Theatre. Watch as cast members wheel out a gorgeous cake and champagne for the star. Our ultimate moment is when the star is moved to tears while addressing the adoring audience at 1:29.
