Hot Clip of the Day: Tomorrow will be a Thoroughly Broadway…

Each day, the Bbox team trolls YouTube for the hot clip—sometimes it's a brand-new moment and sometimes it's a throwback to an oldie but goodie. No matter what praise hands are shot up, pearls are clutched and the repeat button is hit.

"Gimme Gimme" (Sutton Foster)

Ulterior Motives: 18 years ago tomorrow, Thoroughly Modern Millie opened on Broadway! With a score by Jeanine Tesori and Dick Scanlan, the 2002 musical was adapted from the 1967 film starring Julie Andrews, Mary Tyler Moore and Carol Channing written by Richard Morris. The Broadway musical's included such stars as Sutton Foster, Gavin Creel, Marc Kudisch, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Harriet Harris and went on to win 6 Tony Awards including Best Actress in a Musical for Sutton and the coveted Best Musical Tony.

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: We all need to take a moment and remember that this stunning performance happened before 10am. ::moment:: Okay! Sutton performed on Live! after her Tony win and sounded magical as ever. Ms. Foster does not disappoint at 2:23 because it is divine. Our honorable mention comes 30 seconds later. In the words of Karen Cartwright or Ivy Lynn (whichever team you are on), Sutton's "Don't forget me!" is Emmy worthy.
