Sergio Trujillo earned his first Tony Award last year for his sensationally smooth & syncopated moves in Broadway's Ain't Too Proud. Trujillo, like many of our fantastic choreographers, began his career onstage in Broadway's Jerome Robbins' Broadway, the 1992 revival of Guys and Dolls and Fosse. In 2005, he contributed additional choreography to All Shook Up before taking the leap the same year and choreographing the blockbuster hit Jersey Boys.

Back in 2009, Sergio provided the musical staging for Next To Normal, which opened on Broadway 11 years ago this evening. What a marvelous time to go on a Choreo Spiral of the extraordinary Sergio Trujillo's choreography career so far!
