Happy birthday to the super talented Keala Settle!

Theatre audiences were introduced to the talented actress on the national tours of Hairspray as Tracy Turnblad and South Pacific as Bloody Mary. She made her Broadway debut as scene stealing Shirley in Priscilla Queen of the Desert which was followed by her passionate Tony nominated performance as Norma Valverde in the musical adaptation of the 1997 documentary Hands on a Hardbody. Keala was a spectacular Madame Thénardier in the 2014 Broadway revival of Les Misérables and Jenna's honest talking pal Becky in Sara Bareilles' scored Waitress.

A little movie musical starring Hugh Jackman came along in 2017 where Keala's star shown even brighter on the big screen:
