Hear How Broadway's New Oklahoma! Revival Puts a Fresh Spin…

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! is back on Broadway 75 years after its initial premiere with a production often described as “not your grandmother’s Oklahoma!”. Directed by Daniel Fish, this production totally reimagines the classic musical about life in the territory at the turn of the century by stripping down the score (bravo to Daniel Kluger and those killer new arrangements and orchestrations!) and leaning into the darker, dramatic undertones in the piece. Critics and audiences alike are falling over themselves for it, and the videos below should give you a glimpse into why.

The Broadway Montage

Into the dreamy filter they put over this, and Damon Daunno voice sounds like sunlight feels.

“I Cain’t Say No”

Dolly Parton is shivering in her cowboy boots. Who knew Ali Stroker was such a country queen?!? Her voice is made for this.

“The Surrey with the Fringe on Top”

If you could get beyond the fact that Damon Daunno is bae, this arrangement is everything and his voice has so many shades to it. He makes such interesting choices.

Don't miss 'Oklahoma!' at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre.
