Hot Clip of the Day: Barbra Streisand's 20 Second Note!

Each day, the Bbox team trolls YouTube for the hot clip—sometimes it's a brand-new moment and sometimes it's a throwback to an oldie but goodie. No matter what praise hands are shot up, pearls are clutched and the repeat button is hit.

"Make Our Garden Grow" (Barbra Streisand)

Ulterior Motives: It's National Gardening Day! Who better to turn to than the woman who has a beautiful flower garden and is an absolute icon in every sense of the word?

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: Our love for Ms. Streisand knows no bounds! Where do you even begin? For now, let's focus on the matter at hand - the lead up to this ASTOUNDINGLY long note at the end. This Candide track was cut from her 1993 "Back To Broadway" album which followed her previously released "The Broadway Album." Streisand was working with Tony winner Rupert Holmes with whom she collaborated with on tracks on over 5 albums throughout her career. We love her request to move that tempo along at 1:30 - 1:40 under Holmes' direction (from one incredible director to another!). The back phrasing at 2:41 - 2:45, ::chef's kiss::. Then - the moment we've been waiting for - the gold medal of high belting is awarded to Ms. Streisand. At 3:27 she takes a breath and sings for, count 'em, 20 seconds. Enjoy, friends!
