Broadway Bucket List: Little Rock Star Shanice Williams Wows As She Sings Her Three Dream Roles

Shanice Williams won our hearts and a permanent place on our iTunes with her performance as Dorothy in NBC's Emmy-nominated The Wiz Live! Now, the captivating singer and actress makes her off-Broadway debut in the new play with music Little Rock

, which tells the story of the historic Little Rock Nine, the first black students to attend their city’s formerly segregated Central High School. Shanice (who is also working on a Gospel EP) dropped by the studio recently to enthrall us with performances from Carousel, Show Boat, and Children of Eden.
