Friday Playlist: Autumn Hurlbert's Feminism Friday Musical …

Autumn Hurlbert first appeared on Broadway fans' radar as the runner-up on the reality competition series Legally Blonde: The Musical—The Search for Elle Woods and went on to make her Broadway debut in the beloved musical. She recently starred as Portia on the tour of Something Rotten!. Now the fierce singer makes her Feinstein's/54 Below debut on August 5 in a new show that features everything from original works to bucket list Broadway anthems.

This Friday, Autumn kicks off our weekend with a fantastic feminism Friday collection of songs that leave you feeling empowered AF.

I decided to go the “Feminism Friday” route, and the first song I picked is in tribute to the Ferosh QUEEN Alysha Umphress for her incredible bravery and unapologetic celebration of her beautiful self after that truly heinous review. I threw in some great female songs from shows I have been lucky enough to be in and a couple independent songs by female MT composers/lyricists.

Don't miss Autumn Hurlbert at Feinstein's/54 Below on August 5!
