Michael Breslin & Patrick Foley have created a multimedia theatre piece that fans of Bravo's addicting Real Housewives franchises do not want to miss! Their show This American Wife

tracks Michael and Patrick’s experiences of obsession, queerness, performance, and the deep desire to run with a fabulous circle of people.

To get audiences ready for the limited run of This American Wife as part of Next Door at New York Theatre Workshop (July 26-August 11), Michael and Patrick shared with us which Broadway stars they would like to see added to each of Real Housewives franchises.

BEVERLY HILLS: Katherine McPhee

Before she won David Foster’s heart, she stole America’s and broke Ivy Lynn’s. This Broadway diva (and Sheman Oaks native) could out-belt Erika, out-glam Dorit, and give Brandi Glanville a run for her money. McPhee also met fiancee David Foster on American Idol in 2008, before his marriage to Yolanda Hadid. We have some questions about this timeline that can only be answered with a gallon of rose, a trip to the Yulin Dog Festival, and a Villa Blanca sit-down with Bella and Gigi.

NEW YORK: Laura Benanti

A two time divorcee on her third marriage and a fan of the show, Benanti could talk politics with Carole, caburlesque with Sonja, and finally answer the age old Divorcee v Widow rivalry. As she proved in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Benanti is quite adept at navigating diva personalities. Also, who wouldn’t want to see her drunkenly singing “Little Lamb” during a vacation montage in St. Barts?

NEW JERSEY: Patti LuPone

Kicking people out of theaters, feuding with fellow actresses, and getting litigious with famous composers all in the name of a new swimming pool, Patti is the rare Broadway diva that lives her life like she’s on a reality TV show. Though technically from Long Island, we feel like there’s a strong spiritual link between Patti and the ladies of Franklin Lakes. With Caroline Manzo gone, there’s room for a new matriarch in town. Patti, welcome to the fambily.

ATLANTA: Tituss Burgess

More than any other city, ATL has always been a friend to the gays. Because of this allyship, we think they are finally ready for a full time male cast member and who better to pop that cherry than COMEDY KWEEN Tituss Burgess? Tituss’ Instastories prove that he’s more than ready to be ON DISPLAY. Plus his Pinot Noir would really liven up the soiree’s of Chateau Sheree and Moore Manor. And word on the street is Kandi's looking for a new collaborator...

ORANGE COUNTY: Kristin Chenoweth

Kristin Chenoweth RHOC

This Tamra Judge doppelgänger has blonde locks, a sorority past and a Christian faith that fit right in behind the gates of Coto de Caza. Plus with her coloratura and whistle tones, RHOC will finally have someone to go toe-to-toe with Vicki Gunvalson’s legendary screech. Imagine: Cheno getting colonics from Dr. Moon, getting competition ready with Tamra, WHOOPING IT UP at Andales, and teaching Kelly Dodd how to be Pop-u-lar.

DALLAS: Laura Bell Bundy

A bleach blonde former child star comfortable in cowboy boots and sky high hair, Laura Bell would be a killer addition to this cast of debutantes and carnie queens. Highlights we look forward to: Fart jokes with Brandi and Steph, a head to head with LeeAnne Locken, and finally spilling the T on that Sutton Foster/Christian Borle love triangle.

Don't miss 'This American Wife' at NYTW's Fourth Street Theatre July 26-August 11.
