The secret's out, BBox loves the The Color Purple

—going as far to name it the number one show of 2015—and one of our favorite parts about this production is the constant presence of the three gossipy church ladies, Rema Webb, Carrie Compere and Bre Jackson.

From the first "Who the daddy" to "He say he kicked by a mule", every one of their line readings had us sitting in the Jacobs Theatre like 🙌 🙌 🙌
