Each day, the Bbox team trolls YouTube for the hot clip—sometimes it's a brand-new moment and sometimes it's a throwback to an oldie but goodie. No matter what praise hands are shot up, pearls are clutched and the repeat button is hit.

"Use What You've Got" (Sam Harris & Liza Minnelli)

Ulterior Motives: Yesterday, on April 26th, 1997, the Tony winning musical The Life opened on Broadway at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. The show was directed by Michael Blakemore and featured music by the legendary Cy Coleman, lyrics by Ira Gasman, and a book by Coleman, Gasman, and David Newman. The cast was out of this world with Lillias White, Pamela Issacs, Chuck Cooper, and Sam Harris who led this uptempo number as our Hot Clip of the Day. The musical centered on the grittier Times Square in the 80's including the business of the "ladies of the evening."

Sam Harris, who portrayed hustler Jojo, and his close friend, our favorite and yours, Miss Liza Minnelli surprised the audience with this duet from the show after the curtain call. One more thing - the number was accompanied on the piano by none other than Cy Coleman. Legends Only at The Life and the duet starts at 4:15 - hold on to your hats!

Ultimate 🙌 🙌 moment: Sam Harris and Liza Minnelli - this is the duet we needed to start our Monday. Vocal fireworks. We're living for their impromptu jazz hand choreography. We're living for their vibrato. Honestly - our favorite part is after Liza is given show merch - a tee and a baseball hat she instantly goes into her choreo like the showbiz legend she is. You can tell they were having an absolute ball up there. The perfect dose of happiness to start your day.
