Debra Jo Rupp stars as Della in the incredibly timely new off-Broadway play The Cake, from This Is Us' Bekah Brunstetter. Debra Jo (best known to TV audiences as Kitty Forman in That '70s Show, Alice Knight Buffay on Friends, Linda on the hit series This Is Us, and Janice on Netflix's The Ranch) won a LA Stage Ovation Award and LA Drama Critics Circle Award for her performance as a religious cake creator who is asked to bake a wedding cake for a lesbian couple in the world premiere production of The Cake. In the video, Debra Jo performs a monologue from the comedic and touching new play. See her live at in the Manhattan Theatre Club premiere at New York City Center Stage 1 through March 31.
