Marilyn never appeared on Broadway, though she was the subject of the notorious 1983 flop Marilyn, which starred Alyson Reed as Norma Jeane & Marilyn and Scott Bakula as Joe DiMaggio and ran at the Minskoff Theatre for 17 performances.
