Welcome to the “Pelican Bay Bed & Breakfast,” which is closed this week because a hurricane is approaching. Fear not, Frank the owner, after begging you to leave, will cave and let you stay. Soon you’ll be joined by Frank’s father. He’s in a pit of despair because his wife recently died. Thankfully, he finds comfort and laughs in annoying his son. You’ll like him. Frank’s naïve & klutzy son shows up with an off the charts ask. And guess what? Frank, the “sandwich generation,” people-pleasing father says yes. Will that man ever grow a spine?
