Story for Mack and Mabel

A valentine to the two-reeler era, Mack & Mabel revels in recreating the magic of slapstick movie-making. Mabel Normand, played by Alexandra Socha (Head Over Heels), becomes a silent film star, but her relationship with Hollywood director Mack Sennett, played by Douglas Sills (War Paint), is a pretty noisy affair.

Celebrated composer of Hello, Dolly! and Mame, the late Jerry Herman’s timeless score is played by The Encores! Orchestra. Featuring classic Broadway hits including “Tap Your Troubles Away,” “Time Heals Everything,” and the melodious unromantic romantic manifesto “I Won’t Bring Roses”—Mack & Mabel will have you humming your way home.
