LUCKY DUCK at The New Victory Theater is an Original Musical from two-time Grammy-winner Henry Krieger (Dreamgirls), Bill Russell and Jeffrey Hatcher. "Don't think like an ugly duckling—dingy, drab and woebegone. Beauty needs unbuckling. Embrace your inner swan!" sings Goosetella to Serena, an odd duck searching for stardom (and a date with the prince) in this glitzy rags-to-runway musical. Developed at Coterie Theatre's "Lab for New Family Musicals" (Seussical), LUCKY DUCK features sassy satire, crisp choreography and show-stopping pop-soul numbers like "Wipe The Egg Off Your Face" and "You Look Good Enough to Eat."
