The Marquis Theatre opened in 1986 and is currently Broadways newest legitimate theater. Located in the Marriott Marquis Hotel, it is also the only such theater to exist completely within a hotel.
At 1,611 seats, it is one of Broadways larger venues. Some of the shows that have played the Marquis Theatre include Me and My Girl, Gypsy, Victor/Victoria, Annie Get Your Gun, and Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Il Divo - A Musical Affair: The Greatest Songs of Broadway Live kicks off a limited run of live concerts at New York’s Marquis Theater on November 7th, marking the first time that the four band members will sing together on the Broadway stage.
The evening of song features classic tunes from The Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, South Pacific, The Lion King and more, with Tony-winning special guest Heather Headley.
