This world premiere play by renowned concert pianist and award-winning writer, Israela Margalit, explores a young American woman’s quest for glory and fulfillment in the cutthroat world of classical music, from the 1970s to the present. Inspired by Margalit’s real-life experience, the story reveals how an artist perseveres through rejection, sexual advances, economic hardship and personal sacrifice.
