Tickets at Marquis Theatre

The Marquis Theatre opened in 1986 and is currently Broadways newest legitimate theater. Located in the Marriott Marquis Hotel, it is also the only such theater to exist completely within a hotel.


At 1,611 seats, it is one of Broadways larger venues. Some of the shows that have played the Marquis Theatre include Me and My Girl, Gypsy, Victor/Victoria, Annie Get Your Gun, and Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Story for Evita

1979 Musical about the rise of Argentinean icon Eva Peron. With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Lyrics by Tim Rice. TIM RICE and ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER's landmark Tony Award®-winning musical returns to Broadway for the first time ever starring international superstar RICKY MARTIN, joined by Olivier Award winner ELENA ROGER and Tony Award winner MICHAEL CERVERIS. This dazzling new production won tremendous critical acclaim when it premiered in London and now it's coming to Broadway with choreography by ROB ASHFORD and direction by MICHAEL GRANDAGE.

Preview scheduled for March 2012 with opening in Spring 2012.
