Tickets at Marquis Theatre

The Marquis Theatre opened in 1986 and is currently Broadways newest legitimate theater. Located in the Marriott Marquis Hotel, it is also the only such theater to exist completely within a hotel.

At 1,611 seats, it is one of Broadways larger venues. Some of the shows that have played the Marquis Theatre include Me and My Girl, Gypsy, Victor/Victoria, Annie Get Your Gun, and Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Story for Cry Baby

Following the La Jolla Playhouse world premiere in November 2007, the new musical based on the John Waters film about "the baddest boy in town" who falls for a good girl in 1954's Baltimore heads to Broadway. James Snyder will star in the title role opposite Tony Award winner Harriet Harris; both created their roles at the La Jolla Playhouse.
