Story for All-American

ALL-AMERICAN is the story of a modern American family: suburban dad and former NFL star Mike Slattery works hard to make his daughter Katie the star quarterback at her new school while ignoring her brainy twin brother Aaron. But Katie isn’t sure she wants to keep playing and Mike’s wife Beth isn’t sure she wants to keep playing along.

JULIA BROWNELL is a writer on the critically acclaimed HBO half-hour series Hung. Her play Smart Cookie was the winner of the 2008 Kendeda Graduate Playwriting Award, which had its world premiere at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta. EVAN CABNET has directed new plays at several New York theaters, most recently, the world premiere of David West Read’s The Dream of the Burning Boy at the Roundabout Theatre Company.

LCT3 is Lincoln Center Theater’s programming initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists and building new audiences.
