The performance features the vocal talents of South Africa's Thuli Dumakude and Zimbabwe's Tanyaradzwa Tawengwa. Dumakude has earned a Lawrence Olivier Award and an Obie for her Broadway performances (The Lion King, Poppie Nongena) and has served as a social activist supporting AIDS organizations in her home country. Opera singer Tawengwa is a celebrated classical pianist, Princeton graduate and a member of the post-colonial African "Born Free" generation.
