On May 30th, the New Dramatists 71st Annual Benefit Luncheon was held at the Marriott Marquis honoring Suzan-Lori Parks.
Pulitzer Prize winner and New Dramatists alumna Suzan-Lori Parks received the New Dramatists 2023 Distinguished Achievement Award. The New Dramatists' website shares that "over 700 new dramatists have passed through" their doors "creating work that has laid the foundation for contemporary American dramatic literature."
