Lauren Worsham (Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder)
“It was Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music. I grew up on movie musicals, and then I saw the touring company of Cats, and I thought, ‘I cant do that but I like the idea of what they are doing. I think I can do something like it.’”
Bryce Pinkham (Outstanding Actor in a Musical, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder)
“Watching Donald O’Connor as Cosmo in Singin’ in the Rain. Seeing ‘Make ‘Em Laugh’ I thought, ‘THAT! I want to do that.’”
