April Fools Was Wild Over at Eclipsed & The King and I

Friday was April 1, which means the pranks were aplenty all over social media but also backstage at at least two Broadway theatres.
At the hot new drama Eclipsed, Oscar-winning headliner Lupita Nyong'o got her co-stars in the worst way—pretending that chocolate-covered onions were actually delicious homemade chocolate truffles. See as each lady falls for the taste-jarring switcheroo.
Watch my most successful April Fools Day prank EVER on the cast and crew of Eclipsed on Broadway!! #AprilFools - best day of the year, really.Posted by Lupita Nyong'o on Saturday, April 2, 2016
A little farther uptown at LCT's Tony-winning revival of The King and I, the oh-so-fun Ashley Park continues her reign of April 1 terror on her co-star (and How To Get Away with Murder regular) Conrad Ricamora. See how her and the gang over at the Vivian Beaumont took the time to transform Conrad's dressing room in the worst way possible.
