The Addams family Broadway Musical centers on the colorful and eccentric Addams family brought to life by Charles Addams, the famous cartoonist from the New Yorker. Come meet Addams Family Broadway cast- Gomez, played by Tony Award winning Roger Rees, Brooke Shields as the lovely Morticia, Brad Oscar the strange yet endearing Uncle Fester, Adam Riegler as the Pugsley, who loves a good torture, Rachel Potter as Wednesday, who is growing up faster than even her parents would like and the most memorable Grandmother currently on Broadway played by Jackie Hoffman! Addams Family Musical gets caught up in the mayhem when Wednesday brings home Lucas Beineke and his parents Mal and Alice for dinner. This musical follows the Addams Family’ hilarious attempts to be like any other family, without losing their unique outlook on life.
The Addams Family Broadway musical was created by the team who created Jersey Boys - authors Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, and choreographer Sergio Trujillo , with music and lyrics by the Drama Desk- Award winning Andrew Lippa, Direction and design by Olivier Award-winning designers Phelim McDermott & Julian Crouch and lighting by Tony Award-winning designer Natasha Katz, and puppetry by acclaimed Obie Award Winner Basil Twist-Watch out for the for the Giant Squid. The Addam’s Family musical was nominated for two Tony Awards in 2010 for Score (Music /Lyrics) and Best Featured Actor in a Musical – Kevin Chamberlain.
