Summary

Cause Célèbre and Tina’s Wish present "The Shoemaker" By Susan Charlotte, Directed by Antony Marsellis, Starring Danny Aiello and Lizbeth Mackay. Oscar Nominee DANNY AIELLO stars in 'THE SHOEMAKER' by SUSAN CHARLOTTE, directed by ANTONY MARSELLIS. This is the same team that worked together on the film version which was described by NBC's Jeffrey Lyons as 'Deeply Compelling. A film that takes chances and comes up a winner...with a bravura performance by Danny Aiello.' Both the play and film version open with a shoemaker who is desperate to close his shop early. A woman with a broken sole is desperate for him to keep it open. A pair of shoes on a shelf await the return of its owner, who will never return for them. The day is a unique day. The characters will never be the same.

Due to the success of the Off-Broadway production, RECIPE FOR LIFE/Part One, RECIPE FOR LIFE/Part Two returns to the Acorn Theatre with a completely different program for an entire week--JULY 12-18.
