See Gaetano Donizetti's classic romantic comedy The Elixir of Love reimagined in the 1950s Southwest, telling the tale of a shy young man's quest to win the object of his affection. The Elixir of Love is an electrifying triple bill of one-acts by John Zorn, Arnold Schoenberg, and Morton Feldman (to a libretto by Samuel Beckett) that unites modern music, dance, visual art, and design.
This romantic comedy features exciting young voices performing some of opera's most recognizable melodies, including the popular bel canto aria "Una furtive lagrima".
